WE'VE GOT YOU

P.S.

get out, give back.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 23, 11AM-1PM, SHOPS AT DON MILLS (TORONTO)

This is your invitation to get out and give back — in person, for a couple hours, with your people. Come volunteer your time, write notes that land in a real girl's hands, and have a genuinely good morning doing it. Year 5 is a milestone and I really want to do something where we as women build community not just online, but offline as well. It'll be a cozy, comfy café morning where we come together to write encouraging notes that go straight into period-supply boxes. Coffee, sweet treats, good music, good women, and a couple hours of doing something that actually matters. That's the whole vibe.

what to expect:

Come as you are. Grab a coffee or a tea from our little café (I've always wanted to have a café, so this will be me manifesting some shit), snack on some pastries, fruit, and desserts, and settle in.

We'll spend time writing notes, and I'll facilitate a few icebreakers and games so you get to meet other women in the city who care about giving back. If you're part of this community, you're already dope — which means you're going to be in a room full of cool, like-minded women.

Coming alone? Not weird at all. That's kind of the point — you'll leave having met people. I've got you.

FAQs

Q: Where is it?
A: The event is at Shops at Don Mills. You'll get the exact location once you register — don't worry, I've got you. We'll be indoors the whole time, so it's rain or shine, and you won't get overheated.

Q: How do I get there?
A: It's fully accessible by TTC or car. If you're driving, parking is free.

Q: What if I get there early — is there stuff to do in the area?
A: Yes! Shops at Don Mills has a ton of places to eat and shop. It's a perfect spot to walk around and dilly-dally before or after the event, so feel free to make a whole day out of it.

Q: What do I wear?
A: The vibe is cozy, comfy café — so wear something comfortable, something cute, something that makes you feel good. Heads up: we'll be taking photos and videos, so if that matters to you, keep it in mind.

Q: What if I'm not sure I can make it yet?
A: Please don't reserve your spot unless you're 1000% sure you'll be there. When someone reserves and doesn't show, it's a stack of notes that never get written, and girls who miss out on that encouragement. If you're in, be all the way in.

Q: Can I bring a friend?
A: Of course! They've just got to register on their own, feel free to share the link with them so they can grab their own spot.

Q: How many people are you expecting?
A: We're capping it at 20–25 people, so it stays intimate.

Q: What if I have allergies?
A: Just let me know ahead of time and I'll do my best to accommodate. And if you'd rather bring your own food or grab something from the area, you can absolutely do that — I won't look at you sideways, I promise.
